From watching the video I would say it has the 3.62 R&P. Mike is in one gear lower than a 1.9 car would be in and shifts into 4th much later.

The Flatout car has a 3.85, Mike Smiths car is a 3.62. I will post some video following him later.
My seat of the pants opinion, 3.62 was better @ T11 & Corkscrew because 2ed was taller. Mid-range in the power at 40 / 45 MPH The 3.85 was better @ T5 & T6 because 3rd was shorter, better for climbing the hill. Mid-range in the power @ 75 / 80 MPH With all the traffic it's hard to say if one or the other would defiantly produce a better lap time or not. The thing everyone needs to keep in mind is the 1.6 makes within 5 ft. lb. of peak torque 2600 rpm to 6400 rpm. It’s really flat and flexible…I will say from the seat it feels better revving it up. I really like the sound of the 1.6...may not be the best for lap times. It’s going to be really close either way, the only way to know for sure would be to put 2 of our very top racers in one of each and let them heads up race…it’s that close. Also the Flatout car has Motec, Mike Smith car an AIM so an apple to apple overlay of wheel speed traces is pretty tuff. I might be able to put something together. Mike Davies
