My g dash has a stretch coil cable, so I don't expect problems good my to the left side pod. I also run a data hub because I use 2 smartycam hd gp, so you have a little more working space. Next week when I'm back I'll post some pictures of my gen 2 and 3 locations. The gen2 is a lot messier, as I have an expansion hub also for all the extra sensors. In the gen 3 I plan on just brake pressure, steer input, and oil t.

Oil Temp is available from the ECU in the Gen3.

Yes, you can get a CAN Extension cable for the G-Dash. 1, 2 and 4 meter lengths.
