I do mainly regional races, where there is no CSR present. Several times I have needed to go to the local auto parts store for items in a pinch. What year and model car does the new engine come from? Is the starter for example one that comes from a specific car model? How about relays or 02 sensors? These in the past have been available at stores and are items I have had to purchase in a pinch. Part #s? Pat

You may want to consider carrying spares of the parts listed in the Gen3 assembly manual on page 38. I'd suggest ordering these in advance from your local CSR except for those than can't be sourced elsewhere (legally). For example, our local Walmart carries the correct oil filter.
The starter is proprietary and needs to come from Enterprises.
The air filter is proprietary and needs to come from Enterprise (it has a nice Enterprises logo printed on it.)
I doubt that you will find an alternator at your local auto parts store (believe it's sourced from a snowmobile), never mind the cost.
Spark plug is a spec part. From the spare parts list it appears to be the NGK (6510) LTR7IX-11 Iridium IX, though I haven't pulled one to confirm.

0.35 to 0.38 plug gap Randel

To be precise.
Scalar quantities have no magnitude. 4 ohms is a scalar quantity with units but no magnitude. As is 6 pounds, 12 eggs etc.
Vector quantities have units and direction. A distance measurement is a vector quantity which has both magnitude and direction. So the gap is .035 inches measured 90 degrees from the face of the electrode.

Um, then what kind of quantity is an IQ? Of, um, say, 45 or so?
