Greetings all. I'm just putting all of my videos in this one thread to make them easy to find. I wish the sound was better in these, but my camera equipment was bought on the cheap, so no external microphones. Be warned, the sound is terrible and probably not even worth listening to.

Purchase: Chassis 206, Car Number 43 from Kevin Ferguson, previously owned by Tom Dalrymple

Well, I made the plunge today. Drove from San Antonio to the far side of Dallas and back and came home with nothing. Kevin said he'd help me get the car home since I don't have a trailer, which was super cool of him.

Some photos are included below.

3 sets of wheels, one with rains

These will have rains, but may be swapped for regular steels. I'm good either way so long they are straight.

Sorry Mr. Waak, I'm going to want these back.

I think these look just the Enkei RPF1, hopefully they are just as light and durable since these will be the main race wheel.

The only body damage I could find:

Will follow up with some more pictures later. Feel free to laugh since there's another owner in the mix now.

Cheers,
Chris

Race #5 and 6: MSR Houston CW "Summer Sizzler" regional race

My first time on this track going clockwise ... totally new track

2015-Aug-15 and 16

Saturday race: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTI59OPJliM

Sunday race (from Whitney's car): https://youtu.be/5-Rsq78Vu-0?t=3m12s
Switched to the Spec Racer Sports No. 9 car because my car lost 3rd gear during practice Sunday morning. That's me locking up the tires in the same place from the Saturday incident (a little gunshy maybe?)

Race #7 and 8: TWS "Last TX Race for the Mist"

Having moved to California just before this race, I got to experience the "fly and drive" routine that some people do.

Results weren't great, but weren't bad either. Actually got a Top 10 on Sunday and enough points to be 13th overall in the Division. Not a bad way to end the season.

Race #9 and 10: US Majors at Fontana - Dry/Wet again

Guess I should rename the thread to "California Transplant" now.

Anyway, first race in CA was a Majors race at Fontana. Dry Saturday and Wet Sunday (which seems to be a theme for me and Majors races so far).

I hope the theme from Sunday continues though if I can keep getting results like this.

Race #11 and 12: US Majors at Willow Springs - All Dry, but not clean

Saturday Race: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bvk4olWy64

Sunday Race: No (useful) video because only the backwards camera was recording and I ended up going to the black flag station for no reason.
