Here's a short video showing a shift at the soft limiter as well as what happens when you hit the hard limiter.

The first 10 sec shows a shift at the soft limiter.

The second 10 sec shows the hard limiter in action (unexpectedly due to wheelspin from hitting the curbs too hard). I didn't understand what was happening at the time and incorrectly shifted into 6th in response to hitting the limiter.
