Lesson learned: our tires don't make good autocross tires - 2 spins in 3 runs.

In retrospect, I should have thought to mention with a 45-60 second run, the rains might be a better choice; I was more way more concerned about cold brakes at the finish, plus a Subaru WRX guy designed the course so he omitted the 90 degree start and I was also worried about the clutch.

It was so cool to see you and the 95/29 there; sorry I had to bale before your runs- it was Doug's 30th B-day at our house. I just cannot understand* why more racers don't autox with their regular street cars; its fun. Typical B-Mod autox cars are D sports racers and/or Formula Mazdas; just bring your daily driver. We need to thank/credit Mark Mervich for the photo.

*that's a lie; I do understand. No "real" racer want to be blown off by someone who looks like their Auntie in an '87 Civic.

Actually, something happened and I ended up in D-mod and won! In case anybody wants to know what the course was like here's my GPS track map. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/419489_10150836543769498_79946274497_12333969_1052109964_n.jpg

You sure you didn't have the GPS in your pocket walking around the paddock? Or maybe I just have DIDD, data interpretive deficit disorder.

It does kind of look like Charlie's track walk, or maybe it was your run...
I did get one run with a good map, though, maybe spinning does disorient it. [:)]
