Totally expected. Tavo did all the early legwork, but couldn't get $25 mil for Bernie. Once Red paid Bernie, there was no reason to keep Tavo around, and he got no reward for his effort. COTA could have thrown him a bone, but I guess there's too much bad blood.

Speaking of which, if you haven't seen the affects of the '12 nose height rules yet, all the teams have sprouted these pointy little pig snout noses, and are now seriously ugly race cars.

Actually, the McLaren looks pretty good. Not sure how they pulled it off, but the nose on their car looks normal. I agree that the others are fugly.

Hal, a Spec Racer is just a McLaren M6 Can Am car without the stigma of the superfluous and unnecessary extra four cylinders.
