I have a 6 cycle set from last years runoffs. Wonder what I can expect from them now. I am planning some testing and want it to be meaningful performance wise.

Does anyone have experience on what I can expect from 6+ month old used set? Are they still alive enough for useful testing?

If its just a few tenths, I am happy to use them. Anything more than that, I rather not.

They will be fine. They will take longer to get up to temp but should be okay after about 7-8 hot laps.

I agree with Cliff. I used my runoffs race tires at the COTA Super tour race and finished on the podium.

Josh.....don't let those guys mislead you. In my experience your tires are ready for the junk heap. Just so happens I'm building a tire wall at my place and I'll be glad to take them off your hands....no charge. Jim Tibor

Jim, you have convinced me. Sending the tires your way.

I think I have a motor that's got a few races on it that probably isn't any good either of you want...
