Hey guys,

Murray motorsports sells the HANS III and the Sport XLT for a very reasonable price... but I don't see the FIA sticker on them... is the sticker necessary when on the track in SRF?

Thanks in advance for any info on the subject...

Never mind... just heard from Murray Motorsports... the FIA sticker is under the harness pad...

9.3.19. DRIVER’S SAFETY EQUIPMENT
C. Required Equipment
2 ..... The use of a head and neck
restraint system that has been certified in accordance with SFI 38.1 or FIA 8858-2002 or 8858-
2010 is required; an SFI 38.1 or FIA 8858-2002 or 8858-2010 label must be properly affixed to
the device. .....


It needs a proper sticker, doesn't have to be FIA. On those devices the labels may be hidden under the padding.
