Bruce, we are wondering the same thing. Would love to return to COTA. By the way is VIR being considered for the 2019 run offs? Would gladly make that tow even considering the road west of Martinsville. Went through there once in March in the snow. Very intense to say the least. Wouldn't have to worry about that in September.

VIR Majors is scheduled for April 13-15, 2018

I looked on the SW Division schedule and they show Supertour at COTA Feb. 2-4, 2018

Not sure it will make any difference, but being the Super Bowl is the same week as COTA, it might for some. Live in MN and the super bowl is here, but it won't affect my decision. Maybe we will be the first group out and then I can stop somewhere to watch it on the tow home. Maybe I won't even care based on all the problems the NFL is having. Enough said.

There's almost always a test day. Not sure yet if it will be included in the normal SCCA registration or if it will be run by the track and cost extra. I plan on being there Friday one way or another.
