I am going to coat the rims of my GMC 2500 tow vehicle to see if I like flat black or gunmetal gray, then powder coat them unless one of these products lasts a long enough time to warrant leaving it on.

Then I started thinking about whether it would hold up to prevent rock chips on the nose of my SRF3.

Has anyone had any experience doing either of these things and if so, which product did you use and how did it work?

I’d wonder if that could put you over the max weight, unless it’s a new, unrepaired nose.
