I entered and raced the Lucas Challenge SCCA Sports Renault pro race in Detroit, June, 1986 in conjunction with the GP that year. Speedweek showed a short clip of the race and hoping some of us oldies watch it. Some of you were in this race too as 55 were entered. I started 34 if memory serves and finished 17. Scott Lagasse won!
(PS..I am going by at the 2:07 mark) 8-)

Didn't realize you've been racing that long, Mark. You gonna be buried in that car? :o

It’s in my will if I don’t have a grandson or granddaughter to take over the car (so far one granddaughter) by the time I pass, yes! Alternatively, I can be cremated along with my fiberglass molds 8-)
