Did they say the one you ordered in ready to ship and they need the balance? I'd be curious to hear the answer too. But if you're wondering if you pay in full on the day you order it, I don't think it makes any difference. My understanding is that the Sadevs are all on backorder. Sorry I don't have the answer, just wondering what you are really asking.

Two questions:
I have my mechanical down shift cable set to 20% throttle position. Is this correct?
Some oil or trans fluid is collecting on top of the transmission. There is a shiny vertical tube that appears to be a vent on top of the transmission in the area where the fluid collects. Is this normal?

My CSR told me to set the "auto blip" to 30% throttle: if that's what you mean by "mechanical down shift cable". I've been happy with it, but I imagine there's a lot of acceptable "wiggle room" in that adjustment.
I can't comment on the oil pooling because I've never noticed any.
