Chassis #008 history?

As the new owner of chassis #008, and a history buff, I am embarking on a search for any information I can get to piece together the history of my car. I know it will never be complete, but I will be happy to get what I can. At least it's an interesting winter project. I am especially interested in info regarding how the first ten chassis were used in promoting the class (I've read snippets).
From the logbooks in my possession, I know the car was owned by East Anglia from 2000 thru at least the '03 season, running mostly SARRC events. I bought the car from Steve Pence this past summer.
Any information on owners, events or photos is greatly appreciated. Drop me a PM here, or an e-mail at SRF_008 (at) comcast (dot) net
Many thanks,

Have you contacted Enterprises for any history information they have on file?

Ken,
Not yet, but they and Jack Willes with East Anglia (now in CA) are on my contact list. The car was taken care of by Jay Motorsports before I bought it. I think Jay has some background.
BTW- Great job on the new site.

That paint job looks suspiciously like Joelle Pence's. You might want to check with Steve and Joelle.

Les,
Pay no attention to Lee. He fancies himself a speed reader.

Yeah, that's Steve's old car. Steve bought Barfield's last year.

Hey Bob, I'm finally comin' back to CONUS. Might even be in the BOS area in February. Are homeless people who have no State invited?

Welcome home (soon) sailor!
Yup, Jim -- no need to be a card carrying Connecticutter (Connecticutite? Connecticutist?) to bend elbows and B.S. with fellow Spec Boaters in the dead o' winter.
If you're going to be in the area, gimme a shout and I'll send you the details.
That goes for anyone else who can make it to the Danbury, CT area that evening in mid-February. It's just an informal thing with drinks, dinner and tall tales.

Bob, is this get together going to be during the week or on the weekend?
