Ken, I think it would be great if all users could add their real name somehow. Maybe as part of sign in.
It would be nice to know who's posting.
Thanks, John

John, Dave Liddle is my real name. I occasionally lurk here, but you know me.

Quite a few do, but not all. By the way, Great Podiums!

Click on "User Control Panel" and edit your profile. You can add a number of things including four custom fields:

First Name
Last Name
Chassis Number
Facebook Page Link

Your facebook page and chassis number will be displayed under your avatar. Your name remains private (used to help us find you if you forget your username and password).

If you want your name shown, that is what your signature line is for.

Ken, when you have a new member , can you automatically suggest they complete "user profile" ?
Very well done site.
Thanks

Since most of the profile fields are optional, I doubt reminding people would be that helpful. If you don't make the fields mandatory, there is really no way to force people to update their profiles.
