In doing maintenance this year, I've replaced 2 of the 4 uprights that had the tie-rod arm bent.
I was able to re-use the hubs. My question is there any point to doing anything with the uprights?
They are original spec Renault (forged?), not the later replacements (cast)

or are they just good for paperweights?

Take them to a metal working shop if the bend is not too severe (say less than 5 degrees). They can heat the arm up with a torch and then straighten them. Clearly mark the part as straightened, because you should only do this once (then the upright becomes a paperweight).

Is there anyone in the srf community that has a jig and does it? I got a name of one or two, but I've No response from them yet. Any guidance to someone whose done it before would be appreciated...

Have you checked with your local CSR? I know ours (CSR Performance) has a jig that he built for that purpose and straightens up those that are not too badly tweaked (except the new ones, which are not repairable.)
