Hi,
I am getting my new (to me) car ready to go and noticed that the wheel studs on the left rear are shorter than the rest and do not engage all of the threads on the lug nuts. Can anyone point me to a source for them? Also would like to buy some spare lug nuts.
thanks
john

Hi John -
Your best bet is to check with your CSR, as they should have these readily available. Do you who your CSR is? Dan

Those are the original length lug studs and you should definitely replace those with the newer longer versions to avoid eventually tearing up the threads when torquing the nuts. Your CSR should have those in stock.

I'm going to guess that the previous owner had 4 identical hubs on all corners and trashed the LR one.
The LR takes the most abuse. Suspect that a repair was made with spare part that did not have the longer studs. Also. All the new style performance hubs come with the longer studs. The old style Renault hubs are junk and should be replaced before you buy nearly anything else. They can fail spectacularly. Ask your CSR to tell you the long story about hubs & bearings. This is one of SRF's weak links and leads to many DNF's Old studs suspect old hubs. Old hubs suspect wheel wobble. Wheel/Bearing wobble leads to bearing failure.
