Stainless Header G2

I have acquired a Stainless Header for my G2. The header that's on it now has the older "steel" header - which was cracked before and I've welded it back up. Its sounds a little funny and I am thinking it may be cracked again. Is there any inherent improvement in the Stainless Header - swapping it is a pain - but I will probably do it shortly anyway because I think my current header has cracked somewhere
