Changing engines in our gen 2 and thought I would buy new plugs and wires. Went to the local Ford dealer and they said that they no longer handle Motorcraft part # wr 4059. Vaguely remember buying plug wires from Steve Fenske when we were at the Topeka track and that he indicated they were out of a Ford Ranger as they were just a bit longer and fit better. If I remember right I believe there were 6 plugs so must have been out of a 6. Does anyone have that part #? I checked the plug wires and I can't read the number on them.

Bob Chapman's old site lists them as F1PZ-12259-C

That one is discontinued also. Thanks though for the info. It does show it as for a 91 ford ranger so I will see if there is a new #.

Maybe discontinued by Motorcraft?

Ford may have stopped making them, but they are available on Amazon and Ebay.

Why don't you get a set of the better wires that are out there (red ones) ? Should be a lot of these set from the Gen3 conversion. I know I have a few set myself. Someone close to you and you could get them for free or just for the cost of shipping. Better and cheaper then the Ford type.
