Hi, I'm a newby. I changed batteries in my recently acquired car and now it won't start. It cranks and cranks but it doesn't start. Is there a reset on the EEC? Thanks

Don't know of one. Others may...
obvious questions - can you hear the fuel pump cycle when you turn the ig switch on? Push on the schrader valve on the fuel rail to see if you have FP.
Assuming that is OK, I usually go to the crank position sensor (located on the front cover, picks up from the crank pulley). I've had the connector fall off, and crap get in between it and the pulley.
Pull a plug and check for spark, assuming the fuel side is working.
the battery replacement = dead seems odd, and there are plenty of other things to check after the above.

Did you attach the second ground wire on the batt?
