Hoosier recommends 24-26psi as the hot pressures for the tires but at the recent weekend we noticed a distance difference in the grip levels related to tire pressures. At the lower end of 24psi there was less grip than in the 25-26psi range. However at the end of race 2 I measured 27-27.5psi and noticed there were better grip levels when the track temperature was hotter. But when the track was cooler the higher pressures (27psi) struggled. This was all with no other changes to the set up of the car.

I am curious what everyone else is finding with tire pressures on the new Hoosiers now that there has been several race weekend with different weather conditions?

Caveat: I know different gauges read different but trying to see what people think as a general trend.

I just keep the pressure the same as whatever the Hoosier guys give to me when I get the tires. ;)
