Upright, Hub & bearing tooling

Hey all. What are you guys using to hold your upright in place while pressing out the hub? I have everything I need to press in bearings but no jig to elevate the upright while pressing out the hub. I bought a piece on amazon to try out. Any suggestions? Do I need to weld up something on my own or does someone make something convenient?

Cheers!

Interesting product, but it seems like overkill. Given that I never re-use a bearing once I pull the hub out, I just clamp the upright, hub facing down, in a vise and bang out the hub using a socket and a mallet. Seems to me that this would only endanger the bearing, which is being tossed anyway.

Okay problem solved! I went to southwest steel & bought a big pipe out of the scrap heap. $17 & I have 2 mounts with extra left over.

I’d post pics but the 256 kb size limit is a PIA!

Pipe worked great. First time I have removed the bearings in one piece.
