But not a repair - question.

I was looking through the SCCA Solo rules for 2019 and the draft 2020. I was wondering where "we" fit. I've been running my Sports Renault in A-Mod (HA! That is a joke- way outclassed). Then realized, maybe B-Mod is where I'd belong. As I've made Aero and other mods seems like the fit. Now to get the weight down...and the HP up!

But my question - why so little discussion here regarding AX? Sure, not much seat time, but still fun and lots of good folk there too - but only 2 mentions (from search).

And, if you do run in AX - are you in B-Mod?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers - Jim

Now, I race cars. So, am I called a PAVIATOR?

Can't say for certain, but I think maybe our gearing is terrible for AX. Anyone else ever consider it?
We'd probably be in a class that was way out of our league, though tires might change the game substantially (our Hoosiers would be rough in AX I would think as they need heat).

I know previous autocross discussions centered on the abuse to the clutch and transmission. Since those are costly items for us, I probably wouldn't try it. I'd do it all day long in my Miata though.
