I just got a new 4 piece tail, put it all together (which was very easy), and put it on the car. That’s when I noticed that the wheel well cutouts are not correct.
I found a lid to a 32 gal. Brute garbage can was the proper diameter and used that with the Enterprises template to draw the new cutout. The problem was trying to do the cutout on a fully assembled tail.
To solve the problem, check this before putting the pieces together. It is much easier to cut the proper hole before assembly.
One other note, the pin posts on my car line up so that the seams in the tail keep the pin posts from lying flat against the inside of the tail. I just bent the flanges til they allowed the pins to protrude far enough to attach the pin clips.
I have a photo but can't figure out how to post it. Trust me or email me for a copy. gutenberg 918 at gee mail
