Yeah I was also confused between the two now want to have the vinyl vehicle wraps for my truck. Instead of hiring any person I will do it myself and have watched a lot of videos on Youtube. The installation process looks quite easy. Hoping to be successful at it!

I watched a professional wrap my SRF and it was a pretty intimidating process, especially given that the vinyl was full of graphics, so alignment and fit of the graphics was critical. There was a lot of cutting and stretching to get it to properly wrap around curves in the bodywork. Looked great and lasted a couple of seasons (until too damaged to repair). I don't know the cost as the sponsor paid for the wrap but I suspect it was more than painting. I would think the SRF would be more complicated to wrap than a car or truck given the less complex curves, though clearly it can be done.
