I am in the process of updating to the new alternator on a Gen2. Is there a wiring diagram for the change somewhere? I think that I saw something when the upgrade came out but I can't find it now.

Check in the Gen3 manual. There's a short writeup on the wiring of the alternator T-plug. Should be self-explanatory.

Thanks Bob, I think that I understand it. One question. The current alternator has a specific frame ground wire. Where does that connect? The Gen 3 manual seems silent on that.

I am also updating my Gen 2 to the Bosch Alternator. I have to find the link for the Gen 3 wiring diagram.

But I was also wondering what everyone else did with the adjusting link -seems way to long now and how they routed the hose for the expansion tank.
