The Heartland Park Topeka Majors Double National event is coming up July 13-15. I urge anyone that can possibly make it out for this one to come. I know Denny is already planning to attend. I will have somewhere between 6 and 8 cars there myself. We are renting the former Goodyear garage at the facility for the weekend and will be serving breakfast and lunch all 3 days for any SRF and FE people that are interested. Sweet Nicole will be our hostess for that, my drivers really like her and I know you will too. One of the nights probably Friday I will host a cook out and party at my School House home in Wakarusa only 3 miles from the track. Lots of yard games and fun things for kids of all ages. The School House is already my residence and will eventually be my new shop location after the renovation is complete.

Steve, sounds like a blast. I'd love to commit to attending but at this point I can't. This engine replacement has significantly changed my race schedule from a budget perspective. I'll make it if possible, but the stars will have to align for me to do so I suspect.

We are just over a week away so please get your registrations in. I am planning a big bash for the weekend and all SRF folks are invited. There is a Friday night BBQ at my schoolhouse only 2 miles away. I am guessing that if I buy the supplies Ken Tripkos will be happy to provide some of his famous margaritas. Breakfast and lunch snacks will be served to any interested SRF folks by Nicole at our headquarters in the former GoodYear tire garage every day. SCCA has a banquet planned for Saturday night nearby at the Combat Air Museum to crown the Majors series champions. That one will cost you 10 bucks.
