I just came across and watched Ferrari: Race to Immortality. It covers the 55-58 seasons and is honestly, just something you couldn’t make up. I was blown away. I knew none of the names of the drivers involved and just when you think “nah that can’t happen”... it happens.
I strongly recommend it, especially if your knowledge of auto racing in that timeframe is lacking like mine.
Note that Enzo is less the focus and more the impetus behind much of the story. The real story is about the drivers.
Also go in knowing that they show some shocking footage of accidents and subtending carnage.
Excellent documentary

Denny,
Amazing storyline and footage from the days when the tires were skinny and the drivers were fat. Worth watching - Happy NY to all. Mark |
Impressive footage and detail. Overall tone was a bit morbid for my taste.
