Hi All,
The following information is being posted at the request of CRB to make sure the Runoffs qualifications is understood.
David Arken
Chair person
FSRAC - Formula Sports Racing Advisory Committee

From Jim Wheeler Chair person CRB:
The qualification rule was altered slightly for 2012. It only affects SM and SRF in divisions where there are lots of drivers. The old rule said the top half of drivers earning points (who have the four finishes) would be invited. The new rule says the top half of drivers who have raced in National events. (who have four finishes).

What this means is that, in SRF, 281 drivers have, currently, entered a National race. The top half is 141st. (actual ties brings that down to 146th). The points total is now 13 points. Last season you were required to have 28 points to qualify.

Does anybody know if this post is correct. There seems to be confusion as to which method will be used for this years selection..
Thanks
