Heads up: SRF is grouped with F5, FV, and FST at the MSR Labor day weekend races. :(

Also, group 6 will be a PDX group.

Act accordingly.

At least we aren't going to be grouped with Spec Miata:<

Kramer - did you request this? I know you love F500s.

Yeah, Matt, hopefully they will forget me from our last "discussion". Of course, on track i would not want to be in a F5 agruing with a SRF.
For Labor day i was thinking Barber, then this is scheduled on top of it and of course Barber is a loooong tow. Hadn't been to MSR for a while, thought well, maybe I'll just head south...then this? WTF, we have had our own group for this season. Maybe one of you "in the know" Houston region gurus could enlighten us.

Just the normal brillant thinking of a dysfunctional bureaucracy apparently bent upon self-destruction by alienating their second largest group of "customers".

so clearly, you are involved! (actually, Ed, you should get involved, to right these wrongs.)

I'll be there and it will be my first w2w race, so the FVs and F5s may be the least of your worries! ;)

You'll be fine. You just might need earplugs the entire time you're at the track since the F5 guys seem to need to run their snowmobiles at full song for hours at a time for no apparent reason.
I'm getting a headache just thinking about it.

And be careful toward the end of the race for the oil the FVs lay down.

And play nice so we don't deserve the Spec Wrecker nickname any more than absolutely necessary :-)

Paul---The reason they run their engines so much and so loud is simple. They have found that winding up Kramer is more fun than racing ther F500's.
