Ok, the time is nearing, and SportsCar has put out their list, so I figured I'd start the annual thread here.

Looking at the current registration list, even without Richard this looks to be one of the toughest overall fields I've ever seen. Obviously this causes some issues in handicapping , but that's part of what makes our class so great.

So with apologies to Mikey M, Jeff Beck, Boom Boom, and several others who will likely be right there in the hunt, if pressed to put my money on the table I think I'd go with "17 white" .
Brian will certainly be there in the last corner on the last lap, so he's my very close 2nd choice, but Scott is my pick to win his first SRF championship.

There are multiple West coast dark horses (some not so dark like Todd), the always fast SE crowd, and I think that SOWDIV's Keith Verges may generate some question marks over people's heads ("who is this guy?"). All that being said, I'm still picking Scott.

So have at it... who's your pick for the crown this year?

Why is Spicer not racing this year?

In speaking with him earlier this season, he has decided to hang up the boots. I don't know if it's temporary or permanent, but his car is for sale unfortunately.

I think it would be pretty cool if .ds won...but if so, let's all hope for a flag to flag from the pole.
If he has to work his way up through the field, as much as the video would be pretty exciting, the narrative will require a six-pack of e-readers and a long weekend to get through.
