It seemed like a good thing to bring them together at first, but then I read that they won't have a class to run LMP cars and the schedule won't be any bigger than either series was before.
A real shame, I'd been excited about the upcoming Le Mans rules for the prototypes that allowed more innovation in drivetrains.
