Great job this weekend Dan, was it enough to win the series championship?

Unfortunately no. I needed to finish in 2nd place yesterday, but it's OK. I feel pretty good about the weekend, and finishing 3rd to the Vultaggio brothers is OK in my book!

Hi! I just wanted to say thanks to all of the SRF racers who offered me advice and help during the JRRC!
You guys are the best!

It was my first race ever, first time in an SRF, and first time at NJMP.

Can't wait until next season starts!

...wait, what? I know of one good restaurant within a 45 minute drive of NJMP. One. Then again, I kinda ruined my weekend by eating at the track concession last time I was there; nothing tasted right after that.

Seriously, though, please tell us about the good restaurants!

Elizabeth, I did not say gourmet just good, decent food. Longhorn comes to mind, also the Clubhouse at the track not the concession. Keep in mind Millville is NOT Manhattan, Philly, or WDC nor did I expect it to be. On second thought, after re-reading my post I see where you might have mistaken the "great" to include the restaurants.

Thanks Bob for the welcome!

As for restaurants, I would avoid the Golden Corral!! We went there for a quick bite and wound up with a food hangover!!

The Irish restaurant in Millville is usually pretty decent (sorry, I don't recall the name, just know how to get there!). Lots of different beers on tap, and the food is pretty consistent.
