Yes, Midwest Spec Racer has moved but only 3 blocks to the inside of Heartland Park Topeka. We have taken over the space that was originally built for GoodYear to use during the Runoffs. This will be a very good move for us allowing greater visibility to the people that matter! That would be racers of all types and spectators of those races. There is also a Heartland Park Driving Experience moving into the other end of the building that will attract all sorts of people interested in road racing. Of course I will park some of my hardware outside during those events.

Steve:

Is that not a Mercury Mystique SVT parked at the door? I appreciate that you carry the Ford flag with pride.

That is my toy. It is close to what you say but a '98 Contour SVT. Yes I am kind of a Ford guy.

Very nice! And the Mondeo -- err, Contour is a sweet ride as well!

Checked the shop pics out on-line... very nice. It's great having a shop on the track premises. I'm at BIR and somedays I get the call of loons first thing in the morning, race engines in the afternoon, and the smell of a campfire in the early evening... couldn't really get much better than that.

Good luck this coming race season.

No loons or campfires here but we do have race engines. Sometimes top fuel dragsters.... plug your ears.

Well Steve, I see you did it! Looks nice. I will have to make the short trip sometime to check it out. (Can always use your help with something on my car...) :D
