We tried one of these a couple weeks ago, it is really nice...

It has GPS and Bluetooth (so you can use your phone to point the camera). It is more "streamlined" and has a more solid mount than the GoPro.

Also a weatherproof case, and simpler operation...

They also have a Roam2 model that doesn't have GPS or Bluetooth but has 60 fps video, for < $200.

Still waiting to see the data / video from Hooked on Driving (hint, hint).... ;)

I have the HERO 2. Nice piece. Reliable, flexible, great video. I shoot at 720P and get really nice images. Also have an older HERO Wide Angle (non-HD) for a reverse point-of-view. And even the original from five years ago as a spare. GoPro's customer service is very good, too.

Hero 3 just came out, it is smaller, and has a version that includes the remote, which is nice to be able to turn it on and off from in the car. The WiFi is now integrated, which is nice too, because you can preview what you are shooting on a phone, or ipad.
