The next Mid-Atlantic Road Racing Series event at Summit Point will be June 8 and 9. In addition to qualifying and racing both days, I'm pleased to announce that Carolina Cup Pro Series will be joining us for two races. That makes it a three-sanction weekend.

More details once we open registration (in about 2 weeks), but for now be assured that you will get a whopping amount of race time. CCPS races are 45 minute enduros with a 2 minute mandatory pit stop. Driver changes are allowed, refueling isn't. More info at http://www.carolinacupproseries.com.

I've run these races at VIR and Charlotte Motor Speedway, and they are a blast.

Also, Eric Kurzhals has put together a wonderful prize package for SRF racers at Summit Point this season. I don't know what he has in store for us in June, but last weekend one lucky guy won a set of the new-style brake rotors.

ps SRF is group 6. Sunday is run in reverse order so for us the weekend will be done early.
