Mine also has the 12" flip out piece and is a beaver tail. Is that 12" flap sufficient to get an SRF into a beaver tail trailer?

Mark

it is for mine.

My 48' gooseneck (which is extra short) is fine with the flip out. I ended up raising the nose of the trailer (extending the hitch out) which helped a lot, too -- FWIW the inside height of my trailer is barely 6', at the beavertail it's maybe 6'4" (only part of the trailer I can stand up in!) with just the "factory" flip out on the ramp.

I think using "space saver tires" as trailer tires. This would eliminate ride height problem. I checked at the local U-pullit yard for about $12-15 each. I was going to find these tires which had a diameter of 25"-27".
The smaller tire patch would make the car easier to move and roll.

Idea # 2 is to raise the front of the trailer which will minimize the the angle. Oh for sure, a little more effort to push the car into the trailer but then what are friends for ?

never seen anyone do that with a SRF; that is a formula car thing. And raise the front of the trailer with the tongue jack for loading. Drive the car in. The only time that i have not driven the car into the trailer it has been dead or crashed.

Opted to add the 6' Pit Pal aluminum ramps hinged onto the rear door. Just put the finishing touches on the ramps, fuel container holder, strap holder, the a Jack In The Pouch. I'm good friends with the Pit Pal people now.

Picking up SRF on Thursday. I'll let you know how said ramps work.
