Does the SRF have a synchro gearbox, or dog box? While I am at it. Is it a production H pattern, or racing pattern(with 1st back from reverse)?

Sorry for the confusion. I knew it is an H pattern. Most production H patterns have 1,2,3,4 in the primary H. Racing prepped transmission such as Hewland have 2,3,4,5 in the primary H. I found an article from 2000 on SCCA Enterprise sight that talked about how to properly shift dog box transmissions, and it got me wondering

5th is right and forward, reverse is right and back. Fully synchro production gearbox. That article was meant for the consumption of the FE guys.

Thanks. I did not think the SRF had that special of a gear box. The letter was posted in 2000. I did not know that FE went back that far.

We have a standard production car transverse FWD gearbox moved to the back.
