I'm starting to repair some nose damage I did last season (all damage is forward of the wheel wells) and I'm on the fence as to whether I continue to reconstruct the nose with multiple fiberglass patches, or just cut off the mess and "splice in" a new beak north of the wheel wells. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have a spare nose and could build a patch (dependent on the outcome of my copyright research  ). But I have heard there may be patches available.
