dash with data acquisition

From my understanding some are running data systems with a dash display. If this is true are people modifying the supplied dash or cobbling around the original. How is this legal? Thanks -Josh

I don't think there is any rule about how you lay out the dash, Enterprises supplies blank ones for just that purpose.

There is also a blank panel if you already have all the other stuff.
