5th gear, 5,600 RPM? Could it be terminal velocity? You can start with a fuel flow (volume) test. Search the forum for it.

If you aren't in a 5 car train at Daytona (or perhaps at another track going downhill with a hurricane for a tailwind), you aren't reaching 5600 RPM in 5th gear... Unless I misread your post.
Did I?

I don't drive- shifts into 5th front straight Road America, car sounds flat does not pull... fuel maybe. I am still trying to get a grip on this car. I read almost every post on forum, I can tell you have a vast knowledge of these cars. You are correct about rpm's, shift point 5600 from 4th.
Thanks

Which 5th gear do you have?

Only on the front straight? 5600 would be somewhere past S/F I presume, yes?
Does it do it on the run to T5 or Canada as well?

Denny, this thread is from my team member, yes, the car seems to bog/lose power on run to T5 and down to Canada Corner as well. Everyone on the sideline I talk to tells me that down the front straight or down into T5, my car sounds totally different than others, sounds flat...

I had a similar issue that turned out to be a fuel pressure regulator.
