Having problems with the fuel vent vavles we are using. Not venting unless you put something into it to open vent. When hot it puts pressure on fuel cell blatter. Not good. I know people are using Staubli vent vavles. Where do you get them. Thanks Tony

Hmm, how are these valves supposed to work? I thought they allow air into the bladder as fuel is being drawn out by the fuel pump but are otherwise closed. If not fuel would come out the vent line, no?

Correct. The point of the valves is to ensure that there's no fuel spillage in the event of a roll-over, so, yes, they should NOT vent when filling the fuel (under pressure), only when drawing fuel (vacuum). That's the reason you need to put something into the vent when fueling.

From what I understand you do not have to put something into it to vent it. I know if I'm having problems with the cars coming off track hot and the cell is holding pressure. You can tell when you put tie strap into it and it blows off. Others are too. This has put pressure on the fuel cell where we have had one start leaking. Upon inspection I found the seam split. I'm hoping this vavle is the fix to that.
