Let's table this again...(I have not read the entire thread)
Per decision of the SCCA Enterprises Board and myself we are removing the weight change from the soon to be published SRF3 updates. We will be forwarding a data table that we will ask SCCA to send to the Regions to assist us in obtaining detailed data on car weights, body weights, driver weights, estimated ballast (you won't take it out to actually measure) and fuel estimate. AFTER we have this information we will ask Mike Davies to review and recommend a number that we will support fully. We just went up about 9 pounds on tires and 3 for the muffler. 32 + lbs was deemed to big of a bite; with what we have available right now.

Well now that I set up my cars at 1540. Is it safe to say go back 1560 or wait? Off next week and going testing the first week of Jan. so will not be at shop but a few days after x-mas. Kind of short on time.

Once again it's partly cloudy but at least it's not raining, maybe the sun will shine again someday for the gravitationaly challenged. Erik thanks for the update and ah we're watching you M.D.

Oh well, at least all those ballast weights I scrounged up this past year won't go to waste.
I like the plan to scrape off a lot of real world data to study before determining any future weight adjustments. |
