Hello!
My SRF is all back together minus some alignment and corner weight adjustments - and a broken fuel pump terminal. the brass positive terminal on my fuel pump (external inline style) broke off
can that be replaced? or rebuilt? or was that a $500 terminal?
thanks

There should be a few used pumps around at low cost due to the new in tank pump replacements. I have one if you can't find one close to you. However I recommend making the change to the new pump if your planning on going to GEN3.

I have a pump that has low volume output and therefore useless. If you can figure out how to replace the terminals you can have it for parts.
I would ditto the previous post, if you are buying a new pump, the new style is cheaper and the best way to go. Last edited by Lee Spuhler on Wed Feb 26, 2014 10:46 am, edited 1 time in total.
It's better to be last on the grid at a race track, than have pole position at the Funeral Home.

Steve,
I am in the process of putting on the in tank pump. My old one seemed to be working well last year. I'll drop you a PM later Les Kurz

Thanks folks, I have two leads on used pumps! Also going to call kinsler on getting mine rebuilt. I was thinking of drilling and tapping it to take a screw instead of a nut on the positive side...but maybe that would completely destroy it.

Steve don't bother to have the pump rebuilt by Kinsler...you will spend as much on that as it cost to install the in tank upgrade.
